In a joint effort to illuminate the streets of Barangay Almacen, Hermosa, the local government, led by Mayor Jopet Inton, and the Rotary Club of Makati launched the “Project Liwanag: Solar Street Light Initiative.”
Mayor Antonio Joseph “Jopet” Rivera Inton said this project introduces brand-new solar-powered street lights that will brighten the streets of Almacen, improving safety and community life. The endeavor, spearheaded by Charter President Sweetie Gardiner and Marvelous Imaginative President Atty. Gladys Nalda of the Rotary Club of Makati, represents a significant step toward sustainable urban development in Hermosa.
“These initiatives are deeply appreciated and valued, especially those that uplift our fellow citizens,” said Mayor Inton, who emphasized the importance of collaboration in achieving progress for the town. The mayor expressed his gratitude to the Rotary Club of Makati for their generous contribution, which aligns with his administration’s vision of enhancing public infrastructure and safety.
